Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how laya-ai.com ("Laya AI", "we", "us") handles information when you use this independent developer resource.

Laya AI does not currently require user accounts or paid subscriptions, and we do not operate our own Laya inference backend. The Playground page can load the official ConvAI Innovations Laya Demo hosted by Hugging Face when a visitor chooses to run it.

Information we may process

When you visit the site, standard web infrastructure may process limited technical information such as:

• IP address and approximate network location;
• browser, device, and operating-system information;
• requested pages, timestamps, referrers, and basic request logs;
• language and theme preferences stored in the browser;
• analytics events if analytics is enabled.

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include in that message.

If you create an account in the Laya API console (console.laya-ai.com), we receive your name, email address and profile picture from GitHub or Google, and we store your API keys (as one-way hashes), your balance and payment records, and API request logs (time, status, token counts and IP address, kept for 30 days) to run, bill and protect the service. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Email addresses collected earlier for the hosted API waitlist are used only to tell you about that service. If you submit a project, benchmark or integration, we receive the details you enter in the form, including an optional name and email.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• operate and secure the website;
• diagnose errors and abuse;
• understand which technical resources are useful;
• improve navigation, content, and performance;
• respond to messages sent to us.

We do not sell personal information.

Third-party services and links

The site links to external resources including GitHub, Hugging Face, PyPI, and other developer sites. Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

The Playground can load an embedded Hugging Face Space operated by ConvAI Innovations. When you choose to run that embedded demo, content entered inside it is sent directly from your browser to the third-party Space and may be processed by Hugging Face and the Space operator under their respective policies. Laya AI does not receive those Playground inputs through its own inference backend.

If analytics, hosting, CDN, or error-monitoring providers process technical data for this site, they do so as service providers supporting website operation.

Advertising and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, and is set up for Google AdSense advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies to measure visits and to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Cookies and local storage

The site may use necessary browser storage for interface preferences such as language or color mode. Optional analytics technologies may be used if enabled.

Data retention

Technical logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and service operation. Email correspondence may be retained as needed to handle the request and maintain a record of the conversation.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information that applies to you, including access, correction, deletion, or objection to certain processing.

Children

This website is intended for a general developer audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the website adds or removes features. The current version will be posted on this page with its updated date.
